Hi, my name is Rafaele (but you can call me Rafa), and I'm a Nutritional Therapist. I am also a wife and the proud mother of 2 teenage girls. Currently I work from home as a freelancer.
I am originally from Brazil, but I’ve spent half of my life abroad. My journey has taken me to various countries, primarily the UK, but also Spain, Canada and now Cyprus. I love travelling, spending time with my loved ones and going for a run on a beautiful sunny day.
My decision to study Nutrition was born from my deep-seated desire to take control of my own health and be able to enjoy life with more vitality. I've always believed that food and lifestyle choices play pivotal roles in our well-being, and I was determined to take charge of these factors. For many years I felt completely powerless when it came to my health and believed that lack of energy and low mood were just part of life, destined to worsen with age. How mistaken was I! Now, in my 40s, I feel far more vibrant than I did a decade ago, and it is my unwavering intention to continue feeling my best for as long as I can.
In today's world, poor health has become all too common, but it doesn’t make it normal! We can all live a healthier and more energised life if we make this a priority.
Nutrition is a constantly evolving field, and the abundance of conflicting advice can be overwhelming and frustrating. What might work for one person, may not work for another, and that’s the beauty of personalised nutrition: it recognizes our unique individuality, guiding us to discover what truly works for us. I'd love to help you in this journey.
My approach is centered on balance and individualization, focused on long-term health while allowing room for enjoyment and flexibility. I firmly believe that food should be a source of both nourishment and joy, free from restrictive rules, calorie-counting, guilt, or complexity.
Achieving better health can be simpler than you think. I would be thrilled to assist you on your path to a healthier and more energized version of yourself. Get in touch!
I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2022 after nearly 4 years of education. I am also a Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach. As part of my profession, I am also required to attend webinars and do extra training on a regular basis in order to keep my knowledge up-to-date.
I am a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and the General Naturopathic Council (GNC).
